Anti-Drug abuse campaign

Event Venue: Orchard Road
Event Date: N.A.

On 26th June each year, Singapore joins the world in observing the 'International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking'. This year, the theme for the Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign is 'Drug Control'. It is propelled by a 2-day islandwide enlistment of public support for a drug-free Singapore.

The National Council Against Drug Abuse (NCADA) and Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) are targeting to enlist volunteers from upper secondary and above to play an active part in this Campaign.

We are enlisting student volunteers to help distribute commemorative anti-drug abuse items to members of the public near key MRT/NEL stations, along Orchard Road and in selected neighbourhoods in June/July 09.

Interested student volunteers may wish to sign up with us.

If you're keen to sign up as an individual or as a student group, please drop us an email with the subject header "Volunteer for ADAC 2009". You should also provide your names, conotact numbers, school/organisation name in the email.

Registration of volunteers for this activity is on a first-come-first-served basis. We will contact all selected volunteers in due course. Thank you.
