Captain Drug Buster vs Dr. Wacko: The First Encounter
This is a collaboration between CNB and the authors, Ms. Eleanora Si Hoe
and Ms. Katharina Si Hoe.
Dr Wayne Wack, a promising pharmaceutical scientist, has developed “Droplets” gummies that are intended to make people feel good. But when he starts behaving strangely, his good friend Dan becomes suspicious of the gummies. As more incidents relating to the gummies unfold, Dan decides to put a stop to it. Will Dan, the newly appointed Captain Drug Buster, be able to stop Wayne, who subsequently turns into Dr. Wacko, from destroying more lives?
The book illustrates the harmful effects of Cannabis and can also serve to educate youths on the harms of drug abuse in an engaging manner. It is targeted at youths aged 13 to 16 years old and is available for loan from the Public Libraries island-wide with the support of the National Library Board. It is also available in all Secondary Schools’ libraries.
