Created to remember the victims of drug abuse and their unseen struggles, the artwork is a representation of how drug abusers fall prey to the temptation of alluring flowers, leading them to turn their back on the painful consequences their loved ones have to deal with, entangled within a sinister monster made of seemingly endless thorny vines. Their loved ones have become unwilling victims, trapped in suffocating mess they did not create. Our hearts ache for all who have endured this pain, and we hope our artwork makes them feel seen and heard, and remember that they are not alone.
